Therapeutic Approach
I focus on helping clients recognize the many relationships and systems they’re part of—whether with themselves, loved ones, or their broader environment—and how these dynamics influence the challenges they bring to therapy. My sessions are client-focused, so you can expect me to be a guide, referee, interpreter, or healer as needed throughout the process.
In therapy, I help clients uncover the old tools they no longer use, and through this process, we discover new, healthier ways of coping and being. I generally work from an experiential therapy approach, particularly Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), but I am trained in various other therapeutic techniques that can be applied depending on what the situation requires.
About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Sex Therapist. I also hold a 500-hour certification in Yoga Instruction (RYT-500) and am trained as a Meditation Facilitator. I completed my formal training at Jefferson University and Council for Relationships. With nearly 25 years of living in Philadelphia and my personal and professional experiences, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations and relationship styles.
