Welcome to PHL Therapy Collective
The Philadelphia Therapy Collective is a private psychotherapy practice and a training site for graduate students pursuing degrees in professional counseling and marriage and family therapy. We are dedicated to supporting clients as they navigate the stressful, unexpected, and challenging moments life brings, while also providing a foundation for exploring untapped aspects of themselves.
As a client-centered practice, we recognize that you are the expert of your own life.
Our goal is to provide a space for curiosity, understanding, and growth—one that honors both where you’ve been and where you’re headed.
Our expertise lies in fostering meaningful change. Through therapy, we offer fresh perspectives on your experiences and work collaboratively to strengthen skills and build the supportive connections you need to move in the direction you desire. We also believe therapy goes beyond addressing immediate concerns; our approach is rooted in understanding your complete, authentic self—not just a diagnosis or issue.

What We Can Work On Together
At PHL Therapy Collective, we offer individualized support tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, relationship dynamics, or exploring deeper aspects of identity and intimacy, we're here to help.
-
Individual Therapy
We work with issues such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, behavioral concerns, coping skills, mood and thinking disorders, eating disorders, grief, gender identity and other gender issues. Individual therapy sessions are typically conducted in 50-minute increments.
-
Relationship Therapy
From premarital counseling to family conflict, we address marital therapy, divorce, new parent adjustments, grief, infidelity, codependency, and life transitions. We are affirming and supportive of your relationship — monogamous, monogamish, ENM and poly. Relationship therapy can range from 55 minutes to 90 minutes.
-
Sex Therapy
Our focus includes sexual identity, fetishes, sexual dysfunction, healing from sexual abuse or assault, as well as anxiety, and life transitions related to intimacy. Sex therapy sessions are typically conducted in 50-minute increments.
Let us support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.
At PHL Therapy Collective, we offer individualized support tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, relationship dynamics, or exploring deeper aspects of identity and intimacy, we're here to help.
Supervision
Not all mental health training programs include systemic training, which is required for marriage and family therapists (MFTs). At PHL Therapy Collective, we offer individual and group supervision for MFT and non-MFT graduates seeking guidance on their path to licensure.
A systemic perspective in therapy—rooted in the understanding that we are shaped by the people, places, and behaviors we’re connected to—has been shown to improve client outcomes without relying on diagnosis or medication. Our supervision offerings provide additional support to help you approach your clients differently and more effectively.
