Therapeutic Approach
I believe everyone has the potential to become who they want to be, but sometimes we all need support to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can work together toward your goals.
I’m an active and engaged therapist who enjoys incorporating humor, metaphor, and creativity into my sessions. My approach is integrative, drawing from Relational Cultural Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you reframe meaning and redefine your self-concept. Building a strong therapeutic alliance is central to my work, and I prioritize ensuring that we’re a good fit and collaborating from your perspective.
Social Justice Lens
As a cisgender, queer man from the evangelical South, I understand how intersecting identities shape our lives. I’m deeply committed to addressing the overt and covert effects of patriarchy, capitalism, and systemic oppression, both in society and within the therapy room.
My training is rooted in social justice principles, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we can challenge harmful systems, reframe narratives, and work toward the equality and fulfillment you deserve.
